COURT CASE 1875/2013 FSBIPA V/s SBI

1875/2013 FSBIPA V/s SBI, DELHI HIGH COURT

The following message has been received from Shri S.K.Gagroo, G.S. Delhi Circle, who attended the court today on behalf of the Federation.

"The hearing in our case took place in Delhi High Court today. The Bank counsel contended that our demand has been met in letter and spirit. The Federation counsel contended that our plea has not been met in full as we had sought implementation of 50% pension with effect from date of retirement.

The Bank’s counsel said if the pensioners’ counsel is not satisfied with the order then he should say he is not accepting the order and reject it.

Our counsel said NO, I am not rejecting the order.

The Bank counsel then appealed to the Court that since the March order satisfies their demand in letter & spirit, if the Pensioners have any other claim, they should file a fresh appeal.

Our counsel contended that we had claimed implementation of 50% of basic as pension with effect from retirement & since that has not been met our existing petition stands as it is.

The Court asked both sides to submit their pleas alongwith whatever papers they want to.

Next date of hearing has been fixed on 6th August."
